Field of work

Anna works as Deputy head of the Department of Health Care Sciences and as a lecturer at Marie Cederschiöld University. She also works as a researcher in the research project aCent - a model for person-centered care and support, which aims to develop and implement a model for person-centered systematic support interventions in allogeneic stem cell transplantation. The model is developed from theories, previous research and clinical experience. The project is a collaboration between Karolinska University Hospital, Skåne University Hospital, Lund University, Linnaeus University, Marie Cederschiöld University, Sophiahemmets University and Karolinska Institutet, with funding from the Blood Cancer Foundation and the Sjöberg Foundation.

Anna also conducts research in the project “Trends in the place of death and potential links to policy and organization of palliative care for people dying of cancer in Sweden” at Sophiahemmet University. The research project examines, at the population level, trends in the place of death in Sweden for everyone who died of cancer during the years 2012 - 2019 and which factors are important. Furthermore, it examines which connections and gaps in the transition between cancer care and palliative care exist in policies, guidelines and other governing documents. The project is a collaboration between researchers from Sophiahemmet University, the University of Gothenburg and Lund University.

Anna also works as a researcher within a project about the possibility of shared decision-making in the coordination of individual care planning for women in homelessness with comorbidities.
