This postdoc project explores different perspectives on representation in relation to marginalised groups in the welfare society. The various forms, conditions and challenges of representation constitute an under-researched area. This applies in particular to welfare law, social policy and organisational aspects of the diversity of forms of representation that have developed in Sweden in recent decades (legal guardians, plaintiff's counsel, special representatives for children, etc.).
Social work and welfare law form the basis of the project, which brings together two research themes within the department: violations of dignity and rights, and the creation and maintenance of participation and rights.
