FTI as bereavement support

FTI is now pilot-tested for families where a parent is severely ill and have at least one child 0-24 years. The project is part of the research programme FTI – The Family Talk Intervention.

During 2024-2025, families that earlier have been cared for at specialized palliative home care are offered FTI. The FTI-manual has been revised according to earlier research and in collaboration with bereaved families. Data is collected during 2024-2026 and the results will be available 2026.
