Area of work

Annas main research focus pertains to organization of healthcare to achieve equitable care promoting health and alleviating suffering. My research is concentrated to two main areas, Equitable healthcare that promotes health and alleviates suffering for persons with life-limiting illness and social exclusion, and Organization of services and psychosocial work environment – healthcare professionals’ perspectives on facilitators and barriers to equitable care. Research foci are persons with life-limiting illness or social exclusion and experiences of suffering in relation to life events, illness or care encounters. Healthcare professionals as individuals in separate professions, engaging in interpersonal relationships is another research interest.
